For 25 years now RIFCON GmbH is an independent scientific consulting company offering comprehensive professional services for the registration of synthetic and biological plant protection products. Our head office is located in Hirschberg near Heidelberg in Germany. About 200 employees offer services ranging from complete EU registration packages, general consultancy work to sophisticated GLP field studies and various combinations of these elements. Furthermore, we offer environmental planning and environmental monitoring including eDNA services.
For our Regulatory Support Team located in Hirschberg and Ludwigshafen we are looking for a Data Manager / Data Manager for Safety Data Sheets in full-time.
These tasks are waiting for you
You will be involved in the compilation and maintenance of various data packages and databases related to plant protection product registration processes:
- Support our clients in all questions related to database optimization and development
- Database optimization
- Data organization, monitoring, analysis
- Document management (migration, workflows, lifecycles, metadata)
- Software validation and testing
- Preparation of supportive documents
- User management and training
- Close cooperation with our clients, external and internal stakeholders on a global level For managing Safety Data Sheets:
- Maintenance of master data related to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- GHS classification for chemical substances and products acc. to EU/CLP and UN/GHS
You convince us with
- Scientific background (Biologist / Environmental scientist / Agriculturist or equivalent discipline) preferred, for managing Safety Data Sheets a must
- Keen interest in IT topics
- Understanding of data administration and management
- Proficient computer skills, especially in Office 365
- Experience in GxP regulated environments of advantage
- Experience in project management, project and process management tools of advantage
- Understanding and experience of software validation would be an asset
- Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, excellent communication and team player skills
- Very good level of written and spoken English, German skills preferred, other language skills are advantageous For managing Safety Data Sheets as a must:
- Proof of expertise in MSDS compilation according to REACH
- Experience with SAP Systems (R/3 EHS Module)
- Very good level of written and spoken German
- Ideally, you are based near Hirschberg or Ludwigshafen, as on-site presence several times a month is planned to facilitate personal interaction and collaboration
